These guidelines intend to support institutional practitioners engaging in entrepreneurial change processes in their higher education institutions (HEIs). The guidelines in particular show the following:
They set out how the HEInnovate tool can be implemented usefully in change processes undertaken by HEIs that wish to strengthen their entrepreneurial character
How the tool can be enriched to make it more helpful to support this change process, by means of:
Focusing the change process on a particular HEInnovate dimension and activity
Expanding the HEInnovate dimension self-assessment statements/questions
Making use of a value proposition canvas (VPC) in a workshop with the HEI’s stakeholders
Co-developing a shared action plan as a result of the VPC workshop
