AESIS Newsletter – Inclusive School project of IPVC

The inclusive school project was developed under the BeyondScale project to develop the co-creation of knowledge between academia and communities, empower community, develop teachers, and minimize the drop out of students before their graduation and at the same time empower them and reward their efforts.
The inclusive school project was developed under the BeyondScale project to develop the co-creation of knowledge between academia and communities, empower community, develop teachers, and minimize the drop out of students before their graduation and at the same time empower them and reward their efforts.

For this to happen the analysis of the IPVC’s social innovation ecosystem was needed. The different departments within IPVC joined efforts to co-develop knowledge by responding to the needs identified by social organizations as well as to create student learning experiences and social entrepreneurship projects. The HEInnovate tool was employed, and the dimensions linked to entrepreneurship learning and teaching and the knowledge exchange and collaboration were used as a guideline for the further actions. The BeyondScale project established a community of practice of higher education institutions which strengthened their organisational capacity and played a stronger role in their surrounding economies and societies.
