Research and education are intertwined at NHL Stenden. The university of applied sciences has 44 professorships of applied sciences. These are divided among our three focus areas: Vital Regions, Smart Sustainable Industries, and Service Economy. Together with local and international partners, NHL Stenden builds and expands its expertise by employing practice-based research. With Design Based Education (DBE), ideas are turned into practical solutions, often in an international context.
NHL Stenden in the project BeyondScale:
- Facilitates national and European stakeholder contacts;
- strengthens its educational concept of Design Based Education (DBE) in order to have more impact on its environment;
- hosts a capacity building seminar and webinars;
- documents good and proven practice examples of collaboration and engagement and other relevant learnings.
